Today I’m working on happy mail to send out to my friends, team and customers. This card was so quick and easy I just love how it turned out. The Ornate Garden Suite is available for customer Pre Order right now and is so beautiful you just don’t want to miss out on this amazing set.

Here’s a close up of the Dies that come with this set. Such a beautiful selection.

Directions:

On Purple Posy cardstock use the 2nd largest die from Ornate Layers Dies set with the flowers on the corners.

Using the Ornate Borders Dies cut out on Whisper White Cardstock the die that has the solid flowers on it. Also, using the little flowers in this set you will need to cut out 3 Medium flowers and 1 Small flower.

For this card I used Sponge Daubers to sponge on the color. If you’ve never done a sponging technique it’s best to use a test piece of paper and practice first. I find it’s best to dab one time in the ink and then dab to your grid paper then in a circular motion start on the grid paper and work towards the object.

Next we are going to add some color to those Whisper White parts you cut out. There’s no wrong way to do this. I wanted a soft lighter looks so I used very little ink. Just start using your dauber with the above listed technique and add color to your larger Whisper white cutout. Then your small flowers. Colors used are : Rococo Rose, Highland Heather, Pineapple Punch, Mint Macaron.

For the Base of the card I used the larger cards from the Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. These are super high quality and thicker along with larger. Don’t worry, they cost the same amount to mail. If you should wish to cut your own out of this Whisper White 8 1/2 x 6 1/4 Score at 4 1/4.

Before adding your layers to this card Stamp your greeting at the bottom right corner. I used the Very Versailles stamp set and the ” Always thinking of you” stamp. I stamped in Highland Heather.

Last step is to layer this card up. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of the large Purple Posy cut out and center it on your card front. I wanted the flower section centered on the card as well so just lay it out how you want it so you can judge where you should put your stampin dimensionals. I put mine behind the solid flowers using a combination of our regular size and our mini dimensionals.

I hope you enjoy this card and will share this post with your friends. Thank you for visiting my page.
